2002 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish
Finished in immaculate Solway Grey paintwork, this Vanquish offers superb value and is an exceptional example of the last truly handmade Aston Martin.
With Ian Callum taking his styling and design cues from the legendary DB4 GT Zagato, the entirely new Vanquish offered the ultimate development of brutish styling and performance worthy of its title as Aston Martins new ultimate GT.
Launched in 2002, this original example of the Vanquish was ordered and delivered new to the actor Hugh Grant following filming ‘About a Boy’. The car was discussed at length in various press interviews as well as famously featuring on the BBC’s Top Gear when Grant was interviewed about the car by Jeremy Clarkson.
Finished in immaculate Solway Grey paintwork with Charcoal Connolly leather interior and black Wilton carpets. Specified with the important 2+2 seating option and complete with Satellite Navigation and the original factory telephone and umbrella.
The current keeper has a long history of Aston Martin ownership and this is the fifth such example he has owned. Extensive works have been carried out whilst in his care and a meticulous service history record further confirms that the car has been cared for throughout.
The Vanquish was fully recommissioned in 2019 by Aston Martin Works Service following a period in storage when it covered less than 1,800 miles.
With thirteen Aston Martin stamps and the most recent service completed by Aston Martin Chichester earlier this year and less than 200 miles ago. In addition, new front and rear suspension components and four new Yokohama tyres were also fitted.
As one of the last Newport Pagnell hand built Aston Martins, this superb example of the original Vanquish is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
