The introduction of the Aston Martin DB9 marked the beginning of a new era for the marque. As the first model to be designed and hand-built at Aston Martin’s state-of-the-art Gaydon facility, the DB9 combined advanced engineering and modern manufacturing techniques with the brand’s renowned tradition of handcrafted luxury and performance.

Constructed around a lightweight bonded aluminium chassis and powered by Aston Martin’s magnificent hand-built 6.0-litre V12 engine, the DB9 offered near-perfect 50:50 weight distribution, delivering exceptional performance, balance and driving dynamics. Its elegantly sculpted aluminium bodywork, together with the meticulous craftsmanship evident throughout the engine, paintwork and interior, ensured the DB9 received widespread acclaim upon its launch.
